Can Silent Partner Desktop Create Reports in Excel Format Other Than XLS?
Silent Partner Desktop can create reports in various spreadsheet formats, which the user can change and adjust as needed in the settings:
From the green screen, please go to Maintenance > Miscellaneous items > Spreadsheet file format for reports.

Here, you will be able to select the necessary file format: Silent Partner will automatically detect the version of Microsoft Excel on your machine and suggest the corresponding Excel file formats, such as .xls or .xlsx:
If, however, you do not have Microsoft Excel installed, please select the XML Direct option, which will allow Silent Partner to create a spreadsheet version of the report without Excel:
Next time you're creating a report, to produce a spreadsheet file version in addition to the print/PDF one, please check the corresponding radio button in the report printing dialog, where you will also be able to adjust the file name and location for the Excel report to be saved:
