How to Add a Dropdown Field to Your Donation Form

Overview

This article explains how to add a dropdown field to your Glass Register donation form. A dropdown can be used to present preset donation amounts or other options for donors to select.

Before you begin

Make sure you are logged into your Glass Register account and have access to the form you want to edit.

Procedure

  1. Log into your Glass Register account.
  2. Navigate to Forms from your dashboard.
  3. Identify the form you want to update and click the Edit Form icon (the small pencil)

  4. .

  5. In the form builder, select Generic Fields


  6. Find the Dropdown field.

    • You can click the plus (+) icon next to Dropdown to add it to your form.

    • Or click and drag the dropdown field to the place you want it on the form.

  7. With the dropdown field on your form, click the settings gear next to it.

  8. Select Add to enter your dropdown options. Enter the values you want donors to choose from (for example preset donation amounts)

  10. When finished, save your form.

Tips

  • You can rearrange fields at any time by clicking and dragging them into a new position.

  • Use clear labels for dropdown options so donors understand their choices.

  • Preview your form after saving to confirm everything looks correct.
