How to create meetings and track RSVPs

The October 2021 release of My Board View added the functionality of creating Meeting invitations in addition to Announcements.

Both Meetings and Announcements allow you to set dates for the events and add notes and attachments.  Meetings differ from Announcements in two main ways:
  1. You can select which Board members receive meeting notifications, allowing you to invite only committee members to specific meetings, for example.
  2. You can track RSVP responses for meetings.

Inviting attendees

Scroll to the bottom of the meeting set-up page and click the arrow next to Attendees to select each attendee.

Alternatively, you can select the "Invite All" button

When you save the meeting, an invitation email will be sent to all Attendees and their names will appear in the list.

Alert
Please note: you must click the save button for the invititation emails to be sent to the Attendees selected.

Tracking RSVPs

Once an attendee opens the meeting invitation email, clicks "Open in My Board View," and selects the "Yes" button to confirm their attendance, they will be marked with a check mark.

A green check means an Attendee plans to come, a question mark means they haven't responded, and a red X indicates they do not plan to attend.

Clicking the X to the right of an Attendee's name removes them from the meeting.
