Signing up for a Non-profit PayPal Account:

Step 1: Paypal – NonProfit Solutions website

This web page will give you an overview of the Paypal options for a Non Profit Organization

Step 2: To sign up for Paypal account

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOUR REGION IS SET TO THE RIGHT COUNTRY!

Click: Sign Up

Step 3: Non Profit Account Setup

Click: “Get Start” under the Business Heading

Step 4: Next webpage

Select NonProfits / Click: “Select This”

Step 5: Account Setup

Enter: Organanization Name, address, etc.

Step 6: Paypal Account Confirmation

Paypal will send an e-mail to the address entered during the setup process. This e-mail is to confirm the setup of the Paypal account

Step 7: Bank Account Confirmation

Paypal requires a bank account to be setup with the account.  The account needs to be in the same name as the organization name.

Once the bank account is setup in Paypal (Bank, Transit, Account) is setup, Paypal will send an e-mail to confirm the bank account setup.  Paypal will deposit two small deposits in your bank account within3 to 5 days of this confirmation.  Once the deposit is received into the organization’s bank account.  Log back into the Paypal account and enter the two small deposit amounts.  Once the bank account confirmation is complete the account is free to use.

Step 8: Paypal additional Organization confirmation

Paypal may require additional information from the Organization to verify its status.
