Reissuing Donation Receipts

Overview

Glass Register allows staff to reissue donation receipts and change the email recipient for an existing receipt directly from the dashboard.

This process is commonly used when:

  • A donor did not receive their receipt

  • A receipt needs to be resent

  • The receipt should be sent to a different email address

When to Use This Process

Use this process when:

  • A donor requests their receipt to be resent

  • The original receipt was sent to the wrong email address

  • A corrected recipient email is required

  • Staff need to quickly resend a single donation receipt

Step 1: Log Into Glass Register

  1. Log into your Glass Register Dashboard using your credentials.


Step 2: Open Donations

  1. From the dashboard, click Donations.



Step 3: Search for the Donor

  1. In the search field, type the donor’s name

  2. Locate the correct donation entry in the list

Step 4: Select “Resend Receipt”

  1. On the right-hand side of the donation record, click the paper airplane icon
    (Resend Receipt)



Step 5: Update the Recipient Email Address

  1. In the resend receipt window, update or confirm the recipient email address


Step 6: Send the Receipt

  1. Click Send Single Receipt

The receipt will be reissued and sent to the specified email address.


InfoUse this process to resend individual receipts only.
For bulk reissues, follow the bulk receipt workflow (if enabled).
