How to Update the Silent Partner Desktop

How to Update the Silent Partner Desktop application

Societ is constantly working to improve our software, as a result there are constant updates to the application. Customers should try and update the software every couple of months, or whenever an update notification is sent out.

Step 1

Open Silent Partner and Login

From the Main Screen click Help → Check for program updates.





If this gives you an error, please check your Internet connection and try again after a few minutes. If the error message persists, please send an email to support@silentpartnersoftware.com.


Step 2

The software will download the necessary files. Click “OK” to restart Silent Partner

 

Step 3

Reopen Silent Partner. The system will automatically run a Complete Checkup.







If the check-up does not automatically run after reopening Silent Partner, please run one manually. It can be manually run from here: Maintenance  Master Data Dictionary  Complete Check-up. (If you need help please contact Silent Partner support.)



To check what version you currently have, please go to Help > About the Silent Partner:
